OUR LOCATIONS

Always being where our customers are - that is our goal. And with over 2.4 million m2 of sales space spread across more than 4,200 stores, we have a strong position. But even though KiK is primarily known for its stores, other locations also contribute to our success: the European headquarters in Bönen, the headquarters in our expansion countries, the sourcing offices in the production countries and our strategically selected logistics centers. All areas work very closely together to be there for our customers throughout Europe and to inspire them time and again with affordable, high-quality everyday products.

THE KiK STORE CONCEPT

We present an average of 13,500 different products in our stores. When designing our stores, we focus on the needs of our customers, true to the motto: #morethanyouthink. Functionality and cost efficiency are important to us as a discounter when it comes to store design. Our newly developed store concept focuses on a clear arrangement of goods, modern shop-in-shop areas and seasonal highlight articles to simplify shopping and inspire new target groups. We will roll out the concept to all KiK stores across Europe by 2028.

Our logistics centers

There is always a lot on the move at KiK. Delivered goods do not stay with us for long, but are quickly on their way to our stores and thus to our customers. Safety and economic efficiency are our top priorities.

Our goods arrive by sea container in Rotterdam, Antwerp, Hamburg or Bremerhaven. From the seaports, they are transported by barge or rail to the respective KiK logistics centers.
These are located at the following sites: Bönen and Holzwickede in Germany, Dunajská Streda in Slovakia and Rabowice in Poland. Here we take on tasks such as receiving goods, storing the goods, picking them for specific stores, preparing the boxes of goods and loading and transporting the finished store pallets.

Our stores in a total of 14 countries are supplied from our warehouses: Germany, the Netherlands, Austria, Poland, the Czech Republic, Spain, Portugal, Slovakia, Hungary, Croatia, Slovenia, Italy, Romania and Bulgaria.
